Nanomaterial identifiers and Guidance on using these identifiers in RiskGONE research output

Using Compact Identifiers in documentation

The idea is to use the ERM identifier in all (private or public) documents describing the nanomaterials. The identifier is provided similar to a HGNC code for genes. This can be conveniently done using the US/EU “compact identifier” standard (which actually also applies to HGNC codes). The compact identifier code for ERM identifiers is ‘erm’. That means that the identifiers look like erm:ERM00000060.

The nanomaterials

All partners will work with the same materials, same batch.
